This pleases me a lot! I don’t normally watch TNA, but happened to catch Sacrifice. i thought it was really good and had come to the conclusion Sam’s normal reviews must mean he’s a jaded old bastard. Now pleased to see its actually just that they put on a rare good show!

What does almost jackable mean? I usually dropped one during the pre-credits and was warmed up for another by the mid-episode tease. The follies of youth.

I thought you’d made a mistake, because Austen and Morrison were writing X-Men at the same time, with Morrison on “New” and Austen on “Uncanny”, but I looked, and I guess Austen DID move over to the other title when Morrison ended his run. Still, it’s not like Austen hadn’t already done some damage in the X-Books anyway. Morrison writing X-Men was around the time that I stopped reading it on a regular basis. I’ve never been much of a Morrison fan, and I REALLY didn’t dig solving the “there are way too many fucking characters” problem with adding a ton more. I’ve gone back and re-read some of the earlier pre-Morrison stuff that I remember enjoying, only to find it pretty unreadable, so maybe my tastes have changed enough to warrant giving the Morrison stuff another crack.

I was baffled by the AJ thing. They showed him the picture last week. He reacted. He got all somber and shit. THEY SHOWED THAT HE KNOWS WHAT THEY HAD ON HIM.

Then he comes out this week and acts all nonchalant about it. He makes references about “what you think you may have over me.” Dude, you KNOW what they have over you. If it was a big deal, why not try to stop them? Reason with them? Do something other than call a bluff that you know isn’t a bluff.

The Joe Park piece was good. They were trying to do a WWE-style video piece, and it shows just how good the WWE is at their video packages. This wasn’t bad, but it felt a little Art Institute Talent Showcase.

Having said that, I am a pretty big mark for Joe Park myself (even if he should be questioning Chessman.)
